Zombie Fido plushi is done, yaay!
He’s about 14 inches tall and it took me a couple months of satin stitching/embroidering and hand sewing between projects.
I luv the movie “FIDO” so damn much, it was my fist time satin stitching and making a doll, had so many pokes into my finger with the needle too, ouch.
Hair, eyes, mouth, brows, wrinkles in clothes and collar are all embroidered/satin stitched.
Benicio del Toro as the cursed Lawrence/Larry Talbot in the movie “The Wolfman” (2010). WHY I had to draw this, I dunno, it was bothering me today so I drew it.
I’m not even a big fan of the film, I only watched it once for goodness sakes (4 years ago) thought it was okay, and the damn thing never came to mind until last night.
I don’t get it…..(」゜ロ゜)」
Was listening to an interview of Billy Connolly, and the ol’ dude said he got his nipples pierced. I was all:
“Ow, I think those would hurt…..wait-a-minute….that would mean….”
From one of my favorite scenes in the movie, Fido dancing with his ‘owner’ Mrs. Helen Robinson. X3
‘M gonna color it later.
Its Fido fanart, from the zombie movie “Fido.” Yaay!
Aww, he was so cute, Billy Connolly is a great actor. X3
Bela Lugosi in graphite, finished today, yaay!
I was hoping the matte fixative would dull the graphite shine, but it didn’t, dang….

Its Bela Lugosi!.
Despite how rusty I am with them I drew this today with traditional dip pens.
As a note, Bela’s name was pronounced as “Bay-lah.”
Just a little doodle I felt like doing a few days ago. Only used a regular Pilot pen, so line variation is not too great….
I imagine the 2 dudes are buff professors that finally get some time alone after grading college exams. X3
I finished listening to the audiobook “In Cold Blood” by Truman Capote. I was kinda curious how sympathetic Capote wrote of one of the killers, Perry Edward Smith. So did some research and there are some speculations that Capote became close with Perry when he interviewed him on death row, maybe to the point of lovers. Perry and his partner in crime Richard “Dick” Hickock were supposedly sex partners in prison before the Clutter murders.
Before he was hung, Perry kissed Capote on the cheek. This upset Capote so much he fled away from the gallows, unwilling to watch the execution.
Fascinated, I drew a quick, corny slash pic of Capote and Perry.
Even if such an intimate relationship wasn’t true, its still interesting to wonder about.
